  1. Credits Recognition

The Royal Decree 1147/ 2011, of the 29th July, regulates the Vocational Training System and establishes its definition as “a group of educational activities intended to achieve the training of students so that they are able to carry out different jobs, to enhance their employability and to be able to participate actively in our social, cultural and economic life. A2011-13118.pdf

In the same way, it declares that the Advanced Vocational Training Courses are part of our Higher Education which allows us to participate in European Programmes which up to this moment were reserved to the University.

It also regulates the credits according to the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ETCS). In this way, our educational center will certify the dates, hours and description of the activities done by the pupils and the teachers working with those European partners, where applicable.

The different departments will define in their didactic programmes how they are going to evaluate the activities carried out by our mobility students.

The departments will evaluate the activities carried out abroad as if they had been done in our center, applying the criteria established in their didactic programmes.

The students who have attended the course abroad will be evaluated following these guidelines and taking into account all the information provided by the foreign institution.

For the foreign students who attend our school we will offer the necessary support and information to their school for them to be evaluated. Fulfilling the agreements we have with them.

  1. Mobility procedure

This procedure is regulated by the order 28th September 2011 that establishes the FCT Courses and projects in Andalusia.

At this moment our mobility project follows the instructions given by the Junta de Andalucía (Andalusian Government) and it only allows students in the second year of our Advanced Vocational Training Courses to participate in mobility programmes.

Firstly, we will send some letters of introduction to the future partners (educational centers and companies) taking into account our professional profile for our FPGS students.

Our goal is that our students could fully achieve all their professional abilities, and in this way we will select our partners taking it into account.

We are interested in dealing English or French speaking countries because those are the languages that our students learn in
our center.

We would be interested in dealing with partners with a similar curriculum to that we offer so as to enrich the skills and curricula of our students, no matter which country of the European Union.

Students are informed along the second academic year about the possibility of doing the training programmes at the work place in the European Union.

The pupil interested will apply for it to the Head Teacher team. The teaching department together with the orientation team will elaborate a report and the English Department will evaluate his linguistic competence. A tutor within the center and another one in the working place will be established.

Students will be selected according to their language level in the foreign language, maturity and social competences. To prove their level, students will have to sit a linguistic test. They will also have to do an interview with the orientation department.

All the documentation will be sent to the Culture, Sport and Education Headquarters in our province together with the application of the Head Teacher team stating: student ´s application, timing of the FCT period, FCT programme, training period of the FCT course and the compromise of the tutor to monitor the process.

After the selection process, each student will have to collaborate with us to fill in and prepare all the necessary documents.
Some of them are:

  • Language level certificate: issued by our English department after the linguistic test.
  • Certificate of competence or suitability: issued by our Orientation Department.
  • Letter of commitment of the host institution in the European Union.
  • Affidavit of the participation in the Project.
  • Learning agreement.
  • Hiring of a travel insurance, civil liability and accident insurance for the time of the mobility programme.
  • Identity card in force
  • European Health Card

The students will have to:

  • Carry out a linguistic test on the OLS Platform.
  • Booking and purchasing of the travel tickets.

Before and after the mobility period several sessions will be held for those pupils participating in the mobility projects and they will be monitored individually.

  1. Students Mobility and accommodation
  • Pupils coming to our high school

  1. The tutor (teacher) will be in charge of helping them with accommodation and all the problems that could appear.

  3. We will also look for other suitable possibilities of accommodation as youth hostels, university residences and others…

  • Pupils going abroad

  1. We will ask for the support of the host institution to help our students to find a suitable accommodation.

  1. There will be a tutor in charge of being in contact with them and the center to solve all the possible problems He will monitor the students abroad using the Moodle platform created to such effect.

  1. Contact collaborating enterprises

  1. Prepare all the necessary documents

We will be in charge of evaluating the student sent to do his FCT abroad taking into account

  • the reports of the tutor in the Company where he has done his FCT,
  • checking the work done in this Company as it should be registered in the weekly reports sheet every student will have.

These reports will be supervised by the tutor in the working place and will be given to the pupil when the course has finished.

Once the student has finished his/her mobility period, the host institution will make a certificate of final evaluation and will sign the learning agreement.

When all the documents have been checked a Mobility Document will be issued which will mean a recognition of his/her experience doing the FCT abroad.
